Home from Mexico!

Well, we survived Mexico and had a blast! The resort was amazing. This was our 4th trip to Mexico, and by far the nicest resort we have even been to. The pictures don't even do it any justice. We got to hang out with most of our best friends and did nothing but RELAX! I'm so happy Jeff got away for a little bit and was able to clear his mind....well at least for a little big. The second we landed back in Dallas, he was on the phone to make sure that the Earth was still spinning. haha We are so blessed to work for such an amazing company that sends us to Mexico once a year! Busy is an understatement...

It's been over a week since I've posted anything. This last week has been a little crazy. Since Jeff has taken over another district, which means now we have 2, he has been swamped. We hired him a secretary. Last Monday (the 1st) was her first day, so I spent all last week training her. She is great and I really think that she is going to work out. I've never trained anyone before, so I'm extremely lucky that she learns quickly! As if things weren't hectic enough, Wednesday night I woke up with the stomach bug and wasn't able to go to work on Thursday. But she did great by herself so that made me feel better about leaving her this next week while we are in Mexico. Phew are we ready for Mexico!!! We leave out Wednesday and come home Sunday. I think all of us are definitely ready for warm weather and a little break. We are going with our best friends and our Aflac family so it is always a great time. I know that Jeff needs to get away and de-stress for a little bit...and I love Mexico because there is no cell service, therefore he can't be on his phone all day! Life is good!

Katie Playing Mommy

This weekend Emily and I came to Midland to stay with Kelly while the boys went fishing. After being on the phone with one of Jeff's clients, I walk in to the living room, and Katie is the Mommy and Kelly and Emily are the babies. It was hilarious! She had them laying on the floor taking a "nappy". In this picture, you can see Katie patting Kelly on the back and telling her, "Sh sh sh" because she was fussing. Kelly is currently in time out for kicking Emily, even though Katie told her to go over there and do it. Oooohhh the wonderful life of living with a 2 year old. She might be the cutest thing I have EVER seen!

It snows....yet AGAIN!

Well just when everything had melted off and we could actually see grass....it started snowing again! I think we got about an inch last night and it is now 4:45 and we are getting more. There are different reports, but the Amarillo weather says that we are expecting 1-3 inches. I guess this winter is just NOT going to give it up! We have chances for some type of precipitation everyday this week except for Wednesday. (which I'm sure will change) I'm hoping that it clears up because Emily and I are supposed to go to Midland this weekend to spend time with Kelly, Gordo, and sweet Katie while the boys are gone fishing. Keep your fingers crossed!!

I finally figured this thing out!!

I've been wanting to start a blog for a while, but apparently this thing is smarter than me! Somehow I put a picture up that took up the entire computer screen! I finally figured out how to remove it and am posting my first blog! Hopefully I will be faithful to it and keep it updating. I love reading about people's families so hopefully everyone will enjoy reading about ours. I'm learning, so be patient. :)
